Country-pop and actor writer Jana Kramer rose to fame through television, where she was part of the cast in One Tree Hill as Alex during its last three seasons. The show showcased her first albums as country music and helped propel her debut album to the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One by 2015 was the follow-up and reached Number Ten. The last decade saw she was a guest as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars as also in television movies as well as a number of television programs. She also released some singles which did not appear on albums. In 2021, her self-doubting album Voices came out. Growing up in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer grew up on country music. Later, she would make a record career, but she began her professional life acting as an actress, appearing on screen in the indie horror film Dead/Undead while still in her teens. guest appearances in shows like All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the next few years until she landed the part in Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights in the series' second season, 2007-2008. Kramer was on 90210 between 2008 and 2009 as Portia as well as Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009, where she played the role of Alex Dupre. The show lasted show until 2012, when the series ended. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) and Steven Tyler's duet Aerosmith made the album get even better reviews, reaching the number three place on the Billboard 200. In September of 2016, her time on the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars lasted two months before ending in a fourth place finish. The same year she was also a part of an adult-oriented hit song with the song "Feels Like" Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
