Alex was raised at home in Los Angeles' Hancock Park suburb. Her father doctor, Dr. Charles B. Witt is a well-known Thoracic surgeon from Los Angeles. Colette Witt is her mother. Charles Witt was her older brother, and Walter Witt is her younger sister. Witt may also be related to George Washington who was the first president of the United States. Her family's lineage is derived from George Washington, and she is also a part of the National Society of Washington Family Descendedance. Witt is currently engaged to Bill Sorensen, who works as a TV producer. Caroline Sorensen is the couple's daughter. Charlie Sorensen is the couple's son.Alex Witt is engaged to Bill Sorensen, a well-known TV producer.
